Replay and Presentations Available from the IFHA Conference

The PowerPoint presentations and video replay from the 58th International Conference of Horseracing Authorities, which was organized by the International Federation of Horseracing Authorities (IFHA), can now be found at the IFHA website (ifhaonline.org) or by following the direct link at ifhaonline.org/default.asp?section=Resources&area=10&conf=58&cYr=2024.

The IFHA Conference took place on 7 October in Paris, France at Saint-Cloud Racecourse. The focus of this year’s Conference was on upholding racing integrity, a key strategic priority of the IFHA.

Attendees heard from key integrity leaders from racing and other major sports in a number of presentations and panel discussions. The overall programme examined key integrity threats and learnings from previous cases in order to demonstrate how racing can utilise cutting-edge approaches and techniques to protect the sport.

The first International Conference of Horseracing Authorities was organized and hosted by the Société d'Encouragement in Paris on 9 October 1967. Since 1994, the annual conference has been organized by the IFHA. The first meeting had 14 attendees from nine countries, while this year’s Conference convened over 150 delegates from about 40 different countries with a number of other racing executives and media members also in attendance. The Japan Racing Association (JRA) became the official partner of the Conference beginning in 2021.
