Kentucky to ban dual bloodstock agents | |
The U.S. State of Kentucky is to adopt a law that would require increased disclosure from agents in Kentucky horse sales and ban the practice of a single agent representing both buyer and seller. The new law exempts sales of horses for less than US$10,000. The law came under pressure from buying breeders, who have accused their bloodstock agents of receiving undisclosed commissions from those who sold them horses. |
