New Support for Racing Trust Mark

Today, three more betting operators have been welcomed at the Racing Trust Mark community, which aims to promote authorized betting and rule-based trade in the horseracing product.

The three new betting operators that have joined the Racing Trust Mark are The Hong Kong Jockey Club, Breeders’ Cup of the United States and The Jockey Club of Turkey.

This “good global wagering citizen” label distinguishes authorized businesses from all those, mainly off-shore operations that cause unfair competition by operating outside the law and without agreement of the tracks or economic return to the horsemen.

With the development and roll-out of new technologies like digital and interactive TV, global satellite broadcasting, broadband communications, webstreaming and so forth, the racing product will become further globalised.” says Maurits Bruggink, IFHA’s Executive Director,” We aim to do everything we can to promote rule based trade in the racing and betting product, and stand up against pirating business. The Racing Trust Mark is the community for those who support this idea.
